There was approx 640 Turners made from the late 1950s to the mid 1960s using a variety of engines from Ford,BMC and the Coventry Climax.
This 1961 Mk2 Ford Turner Sports Car I have owned since 1986 and is a pure Modsports car.
Originally when new it was raced by the famous John E Miles of Lotus F1 fame, winning outright the National Autosport Veedol Championship using a 1660cc Cosworth engine.
Over the years it has been developed by many of its well known racer owners to what you can see now.
Stored for 16 years then bought back to life with a full nut and bolt rebuild, exhibited at many shows such as the NEC,Race Retro,Bromley Pageant etc it is now ready to race again.

The engine is a Cosworth developed all steel 1800cc Ford Crossflow, dry sumped with 165 ibs of Torque.
Quaife Dog Box with AP Twin Plate Ceramic clutch.

Now you can see why I do all the shows as its a real jaw dropper seeing all the different types of girls at these shows, but I think my race car has the sexier curves, sometimes.

I mean just look at those lines,
