Just bought this - my GF's sons first car. 95 Volvo 850. Bloody nice shed and a ride I'd feel quite happy about driving around in myself. Feels solid. Is solid. Just a small blemish of surface rust on the bootlid. Done about 110k and feels fresh as a daisy. Full serviced it, degreased, washed, waxed and cleaned in and out. Might keep it for myself. Bloody kids these days get life served to them on a plate !! (Still, only myself to blame for this).

Tidy motor. I would have been pretty happy with that as my first car!

Looking good - engine bay photo, please!

Cheapish to insure for him then, I assume?

No, not in UK - Sweden. Insurance is not a problem. Certainly not as big a problem as it is in the UK anyway. And this is the smaller 2.0 engine version.

My cousin in Sweden had, or is in the process of parting with, a nice S70 Turbo. bit of an old man car smile but a good sleeper. Insurance was no problem for him at 20 compared to what it would be here in the UK
