This morning at half ten, i went down to the dealer to pick up my new car which i ordered Tuesday.
The idea is that I should get more MPG than my motorhome which i previously had before as my first car.
Anyhow, its a 1.0L Suzuki Alto SZ4, just driven it around town and down the bypass and it seems fairly good, it was suprisingly quiet in the cabin and the 3 cylinder engine is quite good.
Overall im very pleased with it and it will be very cheap to run hopefully(free road tax for first year and £20 next year and it should 60 to gallon compared to 25 from the van)
Anyway, heres some pics:
Cheers

Accordng to Autoexpress these retail at £7,960!
So you got this car to save money yeah? Why not just spend £3000 or so on a second hand car? How many years would you have to have this before it actually starts saving you money?
+1, interesting selection seeing as a Fiat Panda would be cheaper and just as good, any reason you selected new rather than saving a few £k and buying a few years old?So you got this car to save money yeah? i got it because, although its my car to use, i have to be honest and say my parents bought it and also im on a business insurance meaning im limited to engine size for a few years.
So i had 8 grand to spend on a car, if i spend 6 i dont get the two grand. So all im actually paying is the road tax and fuel. so its actually saving me alot of money.
However i dont get all this for nothing, i do work at my dads business alot for hardly any money but i know that my work it sort of paying for the car and such.
The actual car i really like and i think its better than the hyundiai and has more street cred. And it does help that we know the Suzuki salesman very well
As it is, I can only agree with your friend, its very good at what it does, and is a great cheap car.
