Hi I've been a forum memeber for a while but always just looked around but as my project is coming together abit quicker now I thought i'd post up some pictures and info.
I've been doing the conversion for a while now on and off using a shell I bought about five years ago. now a few week ago I was given a shell in better condition which was a kick up the arse and the decicion was made to get it finished.







Small bulkhead mod for manifold clearance





Then the frame from my prievous shell was fitted in along with the engine from a mgzr 160





Good thing is the manifold did clear but clearance with the frame and tyre is a bit close on full travel

And just to show that its a bit tight but all fits in a standard length round nose


And some other goodies i've got for it
7.5" original cooper setup with the calipers painted in the VHT crinkle paint
Mintex M1144 pads and goodridge hoses.




Protech coilovers for all front and rear


And finally my 10"x6" wheels i've been refurbing aswell
These will be wrapped in some fine yoko A032R which i've got sitting in the loft aswell.

Good choice of engine! The 160 is a good lump.

Not going to be staying with the blue going with something a bit more retro
