Might surprise you wink Yup, it's a Skoda and it's an oil burner...

Just come out from engine rebuild and some more engine modifications. Unsure of power at the moment but it should be over 300bhp once remapped again. Out-the-box performance on 4 year old mapping ain't bad.

Also have yet to introduce the water/methanol system and the nitrous. Will save that for later....

rather annoyingly FWD 6 speed.

However, I have got a Peloquin diff which helps with power transfer. I can kiss goodbye to this machine ever being a 0-60 monster due to traction off the line.... However 30 to 70 is spot-on.

I watched that video a couple of times and what struck me most was how your power delivary is so different to my civic. I drive diesels all the time at work but nothing quick like your beasty.I often find my self shifting at 5500rpm on the limter in the Pugs that work have, hunting for power, (none is ever found!) but thats because i'm shifting up at 8k+ . I totally understand the lure of the oil burners a lady friend of mine ahs just bought a Cupra FR 03' and its very good to drive, engine and chassie. What was the inspiration for the build? anything in mind, Ring monster, Autobahn crusher, man toy?

Upload another video wen you get the map sorted as well.

Yeah, I am a moderator on Briskoda - devonutopia, and this is "The mongrel" smile

Inspritation is to create a bit of a Q car - hopefully a low 13 second 1/4 mile machine, Nurburgring basher (even though the Ring claimed my last turbo! frown) and just a decent 50mpg daily driver too.

Other mods apart from the fact its running pd130 running gear, when it was a pd100

Garrett GTB2260vk turbo - (off latest 3 litre Audi A6 / Q7)
Tubular manifold for the above, equal length
Ported & flowed head + inlet manifold too
Firad 925cc nozzles fitted to pd150 injector bodes (+60% ish fuelling on stock)
Race camshaft
Bigger exhaust valves, inlet left same
Forged rods
Big bore downpipe to short side exit exhaust with 1 silencer
Snow Performance water/meth injection
Wizard of NOS dry NOS kit
BMC CDA induction
Allards front mounted intercooler system
EGR delete, and crankcase venting to atmos
Auxilliary mocal oil cooler & fuel cooler

Probably more I have forgotten - running quite a few handling & stopping mods too though.

Recognise this from Briskoda (and some Angling forum avatar..??)

Very nice, though personally I would keep it standard looking outside. Insane in gear acceleration!

Im very fond of fast diesels, im the proud owner of a 888 CDTI, however the interior of your car is very busy!!

Good to see this car still running wink

I had a Mk4 Cupra TDI back in the day running a hybrid turbo (about a year after you started playing with your car iirc), and I do miss it.

The PD lump is a cracking engine...

Hope you've sorted out the smoking issues wink

At the moment, smoke is pretty minimal.

At least it is VERY much so in comparison to my 2007 dyno run when it put down 260bhp (with propane and nitrous) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9BvjJjL7Z50

Don't forget this isn't actually a fabia vRS.... Sure it looks like one now that I have got front & rear bumpers (both modded to look different though) but the car underneath is a 2001 Fabia TDI - 100bhp.

That's a quick one smile

A mate showed me his Octavia vRS the other day - speedo goes up in 10s to begin with. Further round the dial it changes to 20s smile

thats pretty amazing diesel action. i would personally lose the rear lights though and paint the wheels silver or grey.
