Just sold my wifes though as it was one of the worst cars I've driven!
seriously?!?! What do you drive normally? I've had a veriety of fast cars and the mini is a real riot behind the wheel, yes the ride is hard but no harsher than a lot of modern hatches.Just sold my wifes though as it was one of the worst cars I've driven!

I think "hatred" may be a little harsh, most elements of the car are great. The ride is terrible compared to anything I've driven recently though (Megane R26, Megane R26.R, Clio Trophy, Clio 200 Cup, MkV Golf R32, BMW 130iM, E90 M3, RS4, even my 20yr old E30!) I'll admit that 90% of it is going to be down to the tyres, but that's how it's sold. I also found that the car just struggled for traction even in a straight line. If it's even slightly damp then full throttle in 1st or 2nd was useless. Ours was a boggo Cooper S and understeer and general front end performance wasn't great either.
