When that colour first came out (Z4M colour) I hated it but now I think its great and that M roadster looks stunning in that colour!!

I have just put a deposit on one,just waiting on my plate being transfered.
Mine is interlagos blue,black nappa,sat nav,logic 7,pdc,bluetooth + telematics and wind deflector.
Bought it on the auc 07 reg but only done 7550 miles,CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
What spec does yours have????.

You're the chap who has bought the one from Westerly Exeter? I am on z4forum too...

I have logic7, heated seats and wind deflector. No blueteeth and an AA roadmap for me! 08 reg so just over 12 months original warranty remaining, 14000 miles.

To answer the other chap, it is called Sepang Bronze and the interior is light sepang nappa leather.

Yes the 118d is 'grey', well quartz blue, but it is a very cheap and economical daily driver.

Yes i am on the z4 forum.Still waiting on getting the paperwork sorted and the plate transfer,got a good deal on the car i think.
I live in the south west of scotland and they are delivering the car for me and paying for my plate transfer,also got a very good price for my st.
How are you getting on with the M???.

Used to be on the z4um about 3 years ago,had a z4 2.5 but changed it for a focus st.

Very well.

It's outrageously quick and a lot of fun. Mine is due some new rear tyres which means it is a bit woah-waoh-lairy in anything but dry conditions but it's a giggle for sure.

It's just so much more urgent than the Z3M Roadster I had some time ago, and quite a bit faster than the 3.0i Z4 and S2000 I had prior to the Z3M.

I have put some 99 RON petrol in now too, it seems to be a lot happier on that.

Great car, should have bought one 3 years ago.

They were way too expensive i think when they came out.
I test drove one when they had been out about 6 months (my z4 was getting serviced)and the dealer was intent in dragging me out to try this car.I was very impressed but couldnt justify/afford 40k.
I think now is probably a really good time to buy one as i dont think they wiil fall to much more in value.
I just missed out on one two weeks ago with 4900 miles and full spec for 23995.
Glad you are enjoying yours and really cant wait to go and thrash the ar$e off mine.
Will probably here more about both the cars on the z4 forum.

I know what you mean, I bought a 53 plate 3.0i with the SMG gearbox three years ago because I couldnt justify the extra 15k for the then new M.

Now there is only a couple of thousand difference between a 3.0Si and an M.

I'm currently in negotiations with my local BMW dealer about a Z4M Roadster, looks like its a done deal even though I am stuck in Croatia and have never seen the car!
Trading in an STI Impreza so it'll be a bit of culture shock, need to curb my enthusiastic driving until I get used to it!

Intriguing colour - I've never seen a Z4M in that hue before. There can't be many of them around in the UK at all.

I'm sorry guys, I think these 1 series are AWFULL truly horrible cars, just an excuse to get on the BMW bandwagon.

That may be so but it is the only RWD hatchback you can buy that is within the lowest company car tax band.

I didn't buy it for its looks or the badge.

i had that combo with the missues for a while, though her 118d was an auto - all those knocking it obviously havent driven one, sure, it wont set the world alight, but they are a good economical hatch that you can do some decent mileage in..

Though now she has a MR2... oops, i guess ive rubbed off a bit on her..

You couldn't be more wrong. Try actually DRIVING a 1-series, and you'll see it's actually very good!
