Thanks for the welcome guys

The Nur:if i had kept it i would have dropped an r5 turbo init or a clio 172 but a decided to sell it and get the fiat through mobility as it makes life easier but a miss the renault and wish a never sold it.

petrolsniffer:A was planing on putting the r5 front on and turbo bumper and side skirts but decided to sell and get the fiat through mobility wish a had the money to keep both.

Is it just me, or is there a degree of classless (like the original Mini was classless) cool to vans like this? They're just right for purpose, and I like the way they look.

I also like the wheels

Good choice smile !

You might be right, it's a chunky boxy vehicle with thin spokes... might work better with heavier spokes, something like this:

Good stuff!

I really like the look of the wheels on the Doblo.

I've looked at a Doblo Cargo before and was wondering what it'd look like with bigger wheels - looks well there.

The Renault is strangely cool, I think it's the big slab of glass on the side.

Agree with the other comments about the wheels though, chunkier spokes would suit the car better but each to their own. thumbup

Hello there.
I know what you mean needs must.
I too have a Doblo but with 7 seats due to school run duties.
Had to get rid of BMW 530 as I also run a company car.
Realy miss the V8.
I do like the wheels on your Doblo and wonder if I can talk the wife into something similar?

sider:Thanks a think the wheels are like marmite some people like them some don't it's a matter of taste a suppose but a like them which is the main thing.

ArtVandelay:Cheers mate a loved the renault wish a never sold it a like the fiat aswell but the renault had more character if you get what a mean :L.Id like new wheels for the doblo but can't afford them at the mo.

joshc:Thanks bud a wanted after market wheels for the renault but you can't put them onit as there too wide for the back arches so a settled for the r5 turbo wheels which suited it well a think.

mango43:Bet you were gutted needing to get rid of the 540 there nice looking cars. The only thing about having 17s on the doblo is it's alot harsher over bumps and the back sits high needs lowered now.

Just be careful as Motability dont take kindly to people modifying their lease cars.
