I've posted in this section before with my E30 325i sport last year, I sorted my photobucket out and arranged my albums into categories frown I lost the pics in the thread........

So I'll make a new one with my other cars smile

1989 E30 325i Sport -

I've owned this for 16yrs now and is my pride and joy -

It's running standard apart from a BTB SS manifold and full exhaust system smile

The bodywork was carried out at David Holmes BMW Stockport, full respray, 2 new wings and everything on the outside that could be replaced was replaced IE door handles, scuttle vents, indicator lenses etc....

I also had a new leather gear knob, Tech 2 370mm steering wheel and a Becker head unit to keep it looking retro inside.

I'm still fettling as I go along but the major work has been completed smile

2004 E46 320d Sport -

I bought this new from Benhams BMW Stockport ( now David Holmes wink )

I went looking at E46 M3's and walked out with this and to be honest I'm glad I did, after nearly 6yrs ownership all I've replaced is a broken spring smile

It's been and excellent car and with 35k on the clock it's just run in.

I have been thinking about a E60 535d but I'm reluctant to get rid of my 320d, I can see a plan hatching and letting the girlfriend have the E46 and I get a E60 idea

1993 E30 316i Touring -

I bought this about 20 mths ago, I replaced my old touring as it was falling apart so this came along at the right time biggrin

This is mainly my work/pub/shopping car, I only do about 2k a year if that but it does the job perfectly.

I decided to give it a bit of tlc because the last time I polished it was when I got it redface: I wash it and maintain it but the finer details like polishing it I tend to forget

This is how it looked this morning -

I took the wheels off and gave the arches a good clean as well as the alloys.

Before -

After

I didn't go to town on it, just to clean the salt/grit from the winter we had

The interior had a spring clean too, well just a hoover.

No sagging roof lining here -

After a few hours it looked like this -

It's not going to win any awards nor is it going to light the rear wheels up but its clean and tidy for a stter smile

That is truly one of the best driveway line ups I've seen all you need to finish it off is a nice E34 M5 and you'll be set for life.

That Tech2 is the dogs danglies!!! If the wife would let me the springs/shocks, wheel arch and engine bay are the next jobs for my M3.

E46 and touring look pretty good too.

You on the zone??

Very nice, the 2 door is lovely, always wanted one.

One question though - genuine curiosity.
Why do you own 3 cars that are so similar? All mid sized, similar(ish, granted) qualities.

I'm not questioning the fact that they are all BMW... its just, if your going to have 3 cars, why not make them different?

One bigger, one smaller, one 2 seater, etc etc?

Thanks for the replies smile

I honestly don't know why I own them 3, maybe because I know them inside out confused

I just like the E30 and when you get a good un I tend to keep hold of them, I am thinking of a E60 535d to break the trend with the small ish cars though.
