Shed of my week...
Discussion
After reading the 'shed of the year' piece (BMW 735) in the very excellent PistonHeads magazine, I felt compelled to track down an e32 BMW for some reason. the I went on eBay and actually bought a late example of a 730i! Very reasonable, seemed to work ok (well, some minor technical glitches - instruments seem to work sporadically!) and was in a nice colour!
Got it home Saturday evening, after driving it 150 miles without any issues whatsoever, and had planned to do a proper detail on it today, but the weather scuppered those plans. Did give it a cheeky wash tho, but will need a claybar as the build up of muck on the paint is incredible - I doubt it has been properly cleaned in 6 years. Was a nice waft down the country, could do with new rubber probably (3 match), and will carry out a service when I can find a free, dry day! Not bad for a monkey...

As far as I know, the blank ones are the airbag equipped wheels. The ones without (for this car anyway) do not have an airbag. The badge is embossed in the centre. I need to get badges all round actually, as the front and rear ones are all chipped and the lacquer is coming off, and the wheels need a bit of a tart up too! Gonna take my time with this I think, make it look good once again! I do agre that this 7 series looks 'right' - angular but not over the top, much like the XJ40 (apart from its 'saggy bottom'!)
