Nice stang, always had a soft spot for these.
I'm a Dubai res too and I've been considering one of these as a commuter as you can pick them up for 55/60k. What are they like day to day?
Also is yours manual or auto?
It's an auto, old job meant a lot of time on the road and you know what traffic can be like..I'm a Dubai res too and I've been considering one of these as a commuter as you can pick them up for 55/60k. What are they like day to day?

Only times I regret not getting a manual are the road to Kalba and when I tracked it at the Autodrome.
As a daily driver it's fine, no complaints whatsoever, if I don't drive like a tt then it returns better fuel figures than my neighbours Prado!

looking good!
stance at the back looks good but a little lower would be better, no?
Agreed, hence lowering springs on the wanted list. Some brutal speedbumps in my villa complex are my only concern..stance at the back looks good but a little lower would be better, no?

I know where you're coming from. Some of the speed bumps in this place are ridiculous... although i still see more supercars than anywhere else I've been.

Nice colour combination (car/wheels) as mentioned above, suits it well.
Cheers I was looking at a V8 manual vert the other day in a nice dark grey and I thought that it would look much nicer with some darker alloys.
Also when you remove the spoiler how do you fill the holes it leaves? And finally, have you considered getting one of those black panels for between the rear lights - would look awesome with your colour scheme.

Where did you get the wheels painted? And what did it cost?

The wheels I actually swapped with a guy from emirates mustang club, had the same ones (18 inch fanblades) that were f*cked from the previous owner, he competes in the autocross so he put slicks on my old ones. They were painted at Al Tayer but his brother works there.
I did notice that a company called Luxury (i think) are advertising heavily at the moment, from 250 dhs a rim, they are just behind Pepsi on the Safa Park interchange, you should find there advert in recent Wheels magazine.
I only took the spoiler off about 3 weeks ago to see how it was, I've got a temporary fix at the moment involving some silicon and white vinyl but I like the effect so it will get done properly at a bodyshop soon. When that is done I was fully intending on getting the part you mentioned painted black, probably matte. The stick on blackout panels tend to stick out quite far, I think paint will look cleaner.
