Just waved good buy to the M5 
which was sad, but picked up this in its place. I know their not to everyones taste but I must admit, I'm thrilled with it. the diesel engine is fantastic and it is nice to see the MPG and the range left in the tank, even sounds quite good too under acceleration. It does have a bit of a rattle on tick over though. Love it in black as well

I actually read a bit about what he was trying to achieve with the stuck on boots and it makes sense, trying to get a sense of aggresion without the age old wedge shape and instead having the boot line and the bonnet line continue without meeting. Merc have copied it lately but in a much less resolved or confident way
Theyve got the stuck on boot type thing but not the confidence to do away with the wedge shape in the bold way bangle did. The BMW designs look more "solid" to me.

Took one of these in p/x just over a year ago. Huge depreciation from new means they're a serious 2nd hand bargain now.
Never really been a fan of the looks... however... whilst looking round it I had the boot open... Stood back from the side of the car and just looked at it - wow! much prettier shape.

Your right there! Back in 2008 this must have been around 60K, this was up for 38. They gave me a good price for my M5 too which was surprising. They have improved the boot slightly, it was parked next to an earlier 645 at the dealership and it seems less large..Never really been a fan of the looks... however... whilst looking round it I had the boot open... I do like the black too, certainly gets looks while driving it, good or bad I'm not sure....... The name will have to be 635djimmy now
