Its a beaut OP.

Are those the standard seats? They look really quite huggable, if so +1 Honda. Should help in the twisties smile

Also are these running the K20 engine?

Oh and can someone explain to me the difference between the ITR models with the flat oblong shaped lights and the little round ones, cheers biggrin.

Flat lights are the JDM ones and the round ones are UK ones I believe?

Can't remember any technical stuff offhand!

This age of integra type R does not use the K20A, they use a B18 a really impressive engine with a much more obvious vtec "kick", some of the agression in the vtec was lost when honda changed to i-Vtec. (IMO)

As already said the lights are round for uk spec cars and square for the JDM versions, and the Recaro's are the standard fit.

Im reasonobly sure i have not just spouted rubbish, more than willing to be corrected thought.

Lovely 98 spec integra, these have the machine ported b18c engine, revised gearing, suspension wheels and brakes! Personally my favorite integra! Nice looking example, also miss mine and the raw engine sound!

Nice car, should pretty much fly on the track!

Prefer the round lights look (UK car) myself.

looks like a very clean example, I sold my ITR a couple of weeks ago.

Quite missing the very obvious V-tec as the S2000's far more subtle.

Nice!

Got the JDM (yo) flare too I see. No clock but airbags - odd options!

What's the unit next to the stereo for? VTEC controller?

Thanks for all the kind comments.
I had the car imported by 200BHPcars there a jdm honda specalist based near Newcastle thay have a very good reputation for quality imports.
The unit near ths stereo is not a vtec controler its some thing to do with the stereo it came with, have not got a clue what it does but it speaks to you in japanese when you start the car i am going to remove it soon any way.
The car is completly standard no mods i wish i had gone for a none air bag option now but never mind they may save my life one day, only thing im going to do is upgrade the pads and dics.
as for price you can pick them up for about 6K-7K but the pound to yen rate is not to good at moment if you go the import route but you can get the 96 spec or uk spec ones for a lot less about 3.5K upwards.

That thing by the side of your headunit looks like an automatic toll payer thingy. Seen a few of them come through on imports; think the drill is the owner in Japan pays a monthly fee and that signals to the toll booth that you've payed. Sounds like that anyways if it speaks to you when you start the car?

It seems a very odd options box has been ticked, as on 98 specs you can delete the clock, abs, airbags and aircon; seems like the original owner had a particular disliking to the amber dash clock on their car.

I'd suggest dixcel pads and discs for your car if you're looking at uprated stuff, i've got them on my EG civic which only really comes out for hard driving, and i've never experienced any fade or that with them, if anything they improve when you throw torrents of abuse at them. Probably going to invest in a set for my EP3

Very nice cars DC2's, really miss the proper vtec "kick" of my EG for everyday use.

Nice one. I can also recommend dixcel brakes. Dixon on itr-dc2 will get you sorted. Luckily you already have the 282mm disks. I see you have the ABS too, lets hope you don't need to use it eh.

Lovely car. smile

+1, have seen round headlights on integras in the usa though so whats that about? surely not exclusively for the uk market?
