Hey guys just a quick winter post of the car.
Not owned this car long and its had a good impact scaring both me and a friend with its decent ammount of power.
Bit of a steal really, however its still cost me for various things. Had the exhuast changed to a nice custom made s/s cat back, so it sounds lovely now and the tailpipe is flush. Anyhow, pics:

The spoiler is the worst influence in the world, it's like a dog wagging its tail. It just tells you to have fun.

What you think guys?

Luke.

That looks very nice indeed, very tidy.
I miss mine sometimes, miss the noise more than anything. And yes you will never get bored of playing with the spoiler.

My old one:

Nice car. I always found mine a little underpowered, though was fantastic on back roads, great handling car. Any future plans for yours? Probably would be long before you start hankering after a VR6 wink

Here's my old one anyway:

Nice to know im not the only one who enjoys that button near your leg, it certainly ammuses me and the people behind me when i make a boot to 60 on a NSL road. Some really nice rado's too, ive found the owners of these cars rarely abuse them in terms of looks or road use, we have our fun but we respect the car. Future plans? Well just bought some KR cams for 30 quid, heard good reports of them upping the useable bhp, erm gonna clean the engine bay, fix the sunroof, full brake change to the mk4 calipers on rears and just new discs and pads all round, various electrical demons. In the end i think i'll end up with a standard...ish car with a moderate ammount of power giving me some summer fun, if i sold next year is a big big question as i want to move through my retro car dream garage. I've found myself hankering for the jet like sound of the g60 or the gorgoues warble of the vr6.

If you're going to work on the sunroof might be worth looking into fitting a Passat glass one, bought one for mine but never fitted it, think it would have made the interior lighter.
Forget the G60 the VR is the only way forward if you wont to keep it fairly standard the G60 requires a lot of mods to make it better.
