Nice set up indeed.

Had to wait for a bit for the pics to resize, though. They're MASSIVE

I have the same brakes on my car and they are awesome - totally fade proof on road and track.

Try some carbotech pads - much better than the std DS2500's

probably 300bhp.

I have heard the brakes are really very good on the RS (bloke at work has just got one so have been drilling him for info/reports today) But I have always thought brakes are the first thing anyone should upgrade in a high performance motor, you can NEVER have to much stopping power. Really very nice set up, not much can live with you, in that, on a sunny day i bet!

Lovely. Wouldn't mind a big set of stoppers like that for the Cosworth. I bet that was quite a few ££££ though?...

Actually that isn't true - you can have too much stopping power.

thanks for the comments guys smile

the standard brake setup is excellent they are the single pot stoppers off an XC90 I believe and are more than up to the job for fast road, however mines now running around 400hp and 450lbs and I'm a big believer in having brakes up to the job of scrubbing off speed as fast you can pile it on, and the RS piles it on in big dollops!

I'll do some more pics shortly.

Hi mate good to hear from you, yes thought I'd hold onto the plate, a friend has bought the Escort Cossie so thats being looked after still!

Its all pretty stock under the bonnet other than this baby:

although I'll be upgrading all hoses and tanks shortly smile

traction is the main problem LOL! she spins up in 1/2/3 and sometimes 4 if you catch it right, however once its hooked up it certainly shuffles along and the noise is something else!
