I just picked this up on Monday and I'm absolutly loving it! Its only a 318i, but being 20 the joys of insurance limited what engine i could go for. I'm currently looking for some better BMW alloys as i'm not a huge fan of the ones that came with it. Not great pics but they're the only ones i have at the moment.

The ride won't be as comfortable, but MV1's would be my choice of wheel even if they are a pain to keep clean.

Enjoy smile

I'd love a set of MV1s, but so does every one else so they always seem to sell for quite a bit and with bugger all tread left on the rubber.
Im watching a set of the ones modeoman posted at the moment, i quite like the look of them

Nice car for 20. Well done .... Better that the average french biscuit tin.

To keep the car looking subtle, I'd stick with OEM option wheels. I always liked these as they reminded me of the E36 M3 wheels a little, and suited the proportions of the car.

Depending on budget, however, some aftermarket rims can look really good. These are available in relatively sensible prices for packages (replicas). They look excellent on any BMW.

Friend of mine swapped her Puma for one of these when she got pregnant, pretty decent car really, drives very nicely goes OK, and I'd imagine for a 20 year old you're loving it!

Those cross spokes suggested by Mondeo man are nice, although the BBS LM's are as close to wheel porn as you can get!

I chose these for my E46 when I had it -

17" from 3.0i Z4.

Be aware that 17"+ bmw alloys aren't the strongest in the world, and a lot of the ones on ebay are buckled on the inside rim.
Uprating the suspension bushes all round, particularly with eccentric evo type ones on the front arms, will make a big difference to how fresh the car feels to drive for not much cash.
