Well bought a new daily drive yesterday, hope it doesn't prove to be a lemon!

Only 1 photo at the moment, collect it next weekend as its getting serviced this week.

Hope its not to old man'ish!

Merc CLK 320 sport.
Not to sure how 'sporty' it actually is though, mopre a cruiser i think!

Anyway, hope you like!

Looks in good condition and you can't really complain at that sort of money. Aren't these prone to a bit of tin worm?

V6 engine should be pretty impressive & good fun to drive. Enjoy it!

The 6 cylinder does sound very nice.
Nice choice for a daily hack!

I was looking at these the other day, be interested to see how you get on. Certainly seem like a lot of car for the money!

I had one of these. Check the electrics as they throw fault codes alot around this year. Also they are terrible for rust at this age unless they have been looked after. I sold mine as a daily due to the above! Seems Merc of this era were not built well, engines are good though! smile

It does have the odd little bit of rust but nothing serious.
I didnt expect it to be a minter for the money paid, nothing a couple of hundred quid shouldnt put right though.

Its getting serviced at MB this week so thats a little bit of peace of mind.

I will also be booking it in to my local mechanic for a once over. its got 5 months MOT left so would prefer to know of any faults now rather than big bills later!

No idea, i doubt it but will let you know for certain on saturday (unless someone else pipes up!)

I'm sure it had a ski hole though, hopefully wide enough to take a board but again, we'll see.

Maybe not the best choice for a trip up the Alps in ski season...

I think he was implying it was cheap because its probably a bag of spanners?!
I could be wrong though.

I think its the nicest colour apart from black. It is certainly a popular colour, be that good or bad...
