Err whats all the fuss about, just a couple of crummy hatchbacks?

......Only kidding, an Integrale and a T16 you utter Bar-steward! Would be interesting to read your thoughts on driving the T16 (if you have had the opportunity yet?).

Those Dimma kits are starting to look so dated these days wink

Two stunning cars. I don't think I've ever seen a road going T16, I thought they were all museum pieces by now. Fantastic thumbup

My landlord has just sold his T16 to some collector in Belgium.
They are fantastic cars - although not as quick as I'd once thought.

Closest I ever saw to a road going T16 was something arguably a little faster and a little more special (?) - one of those with 300+bhp of 2 liter sierra cossie engine, with the relevant 4x4 running gear. Looked absolutely awesome. Almost as wide as it was long.

And as for sledges cars - I absolutely totally and utterly hate you for owning two such cars.

Will you be my friend and let me drive them please, pretty please with sugar on top?

Detuned 200bhp as stock, more weight than a standard car though due to the 4WD though.

hi Lancia is far more civislised than T16, T16 is bit brutish with its power delivery, not had the chance to compare it with anything as for not been in a dash from the lights with anyone in it, it does pin you back and had endless power, handling is great with excellent feel and so good in the corners, i think i would let go before it did, scared me a few times when i have pushed it cause i have looked back and thought " how did i get around there" , it feels faster than the Lancia however its a lot noisier and has less road bias.
Lancia is lovely, so precise, so predictable and so much fun, what they said on Top Gear is only half the story, you feel part of the car and it is so easy to drive fast.
T16 i tend to take more care of as whilst the Lancia is rare, its a water spray model and one of 500, the T16 is far rarer.

if you want some cheap and very fast motoring, look at the Subaru Legacy GTB'a on here, had one in 2008 when i had a year off, indicated 165mph on the tomtom and still going, i bottled it though.

Before Zagato in London did the upgrades to my Lancia the Legacy was quicker, only draw back, 8mpg when you use both turbos, outrun and local 911 4s and m3 in an estate car, so much performance for little money
