Picked this up at the end of Dec, my second ST. It is the ST-3 model so comes with privacy glass, full heated leather recaros, DAB radio, keyless entry and push button start. Also has climate control, visibility pack and tyre deflation detection.

Traded in my 07 plate ST-3.

This car feels much tighter, I have heard that all STs now share the base chassis with the RS, maybe this is why.

Great 5 pot engine as well..!

Cost me £16870 otr, cracking deal.

You on Privilege then? Was the deal dependant on the car being registered in December?

Nice car, I've always fancied one but don't think I could live with the fuel economy as a daily driver.

Military discount, if I was exporting the car then it would be even cheaper. I'll check the prices on the RS and post up after lunch.

I've had a look. If I was exporting the ST then it would have been £14285.

As for the RS; UK list is £27575. I can get one for £25925 if staying in the UK, and £21875 if posted overseas.

If anyone here is in the forces and is interested then give me a shout and I'll pass your details on.

Tax paid/tax free discounts also apply to options such as lux packs.

As regards fuel consumption, I only tend to use the car at the weekend so do about 100miles/week max. Averaging 25mpg at the moment.

Tax is £225 a year, not the highest bracket thankfully.

Hope to keep it until next year and then trade in, hopefully make a slight profit.
