I'm 23, 24 in March and have had a fair few cars in my years of driving

Nova 1.2
Escort 1.3 bonus
Nissan Micra
2x Saxos, 1x 1.1, 1.0
106 Quiksilver
Vectra SRI 130
Ford Focus 1.8 16v
Subaru Impreza Sport
Subaru Impreza Turbo
Subaru Impreza WRX - Bugeye + sAXO vtr FOR 4 DAYS
Subaru Impreza WRX STI Type UK Prodrive

I have had 4 Imprezas this year. Started off in January with a £1500 Impreza sport which i kept for 2 months and then moved onto a UK Turbo which i modified and got her up to 302bhp, I kept this for 4 months and bought a WRX Bugeye Impreza which i spent a good bit on and kept from June until 2 weeks ago when i spotted this beuty of a STI.
All my cars are bought outright i dont smoke or drink neither does my gf lol so just save really lol

2 owners from New
Very low mileage
FSH with belts done
TOTALLY standard and not messed with
Immaculate
I paid slightly over the odds for it but imo it was worth it as its an honest example of an STI.

I have some excellent pictures of it in about 1foot of snow as I'm in Inverness lol but have not uploaded them as of yet, will get it done tonight.

The first difference i noticed with this car was the power, even tho my WRX was touching 300bhp this car delivers the power so much more smoother and better and then you have the massive Brembos on the front of it which can make the car stop instantly :-)

To say I'm impressed with the car is a understatement.

Santa was good to me and brought me a Hayward and Scott Exhaust system and a Turbosmart BOV.

Next up is some whiteline goodies, walbro fuel pump, panel filter and then see where that takes me.

Next year 2010 i would like to get an Evo 8 OR a E46 M3

Excuse the crap pics as they are from my phone I will uplaod the proper pictures tonight

My Classic Turbo - Which my mate now owns

My WRX which i sold to buy the STI

Thanks very much.
Drinking is something that never has really interested me nor smoking so just worked like a bh to get a decent motor haha :-)i would rather tinker with the car or go to a track day than go to the pub tbh.

I'm looking forward to the fun i will have with her this year coming, its been snowing since i got her so not really had a chance to "give it some" in the dry :-(

looks very nice, but i must say i am partial (and maybe biassed towards) the lighter classic shape imprezas. not keen on that front splitter though.

Recognise where the photographs of your latest were taken! I'd love to own such nice cars a few years from now

STI (Subaru Technique International) Is Subaru's in-house tuning company. Like AMG to Mercedes or Ralliart to Mitsubishi. I think....

So generally more power. I think the STI has a 2 litre engine and the WRX has a 2.5, with the 2 litre having the bigger power output. Again, i think...

At that age both had a 2.0 engine, just the engine in the Sti has stronger internals, bigger injectors, AVCS VVT, bigger turbo and intercooler

^^And I'm pretty sure the Sti gains a 6speed gearbox (VS 5 for the WRX) and Brembo brakes all round (VS Subaru's own).

And you would be right, the 6 speed is almost unbustable (Some had probs with syncros) The 5 speed is only really good for 400bhp , and thats pushing it

Doesn't the WRX have a 6 speed? I was under the impression they did (Been looking at the newer models recently so it may be a different case for older ones)
