New purchase just before Christmas, had time to clean it today and take a few snaps for the scrap book.

So far i'm very pleased, it's essentially a fast sofa which alot of people ignore because of it's sedate appearance and pipe and slippers reputation, but once it's in second gear and 30mph is reached it really will hustle along with impressive urgency. It's damped well, the suspension seems to be very progressive and the chassis feels alot stiffer than i'd have imagined but it's still comfort over sporty. Kit list is magnificent, only bested by much more modern cars in my experience and the build quailty has far exceeded my expectations.

Pictures aren't great, I'd been outside washing two cars all day and my hands were almost numb by this point.

Nice, considering one of these as the "dog" car smile

A very under-rated car in my opinion. I've been keeping an eye on the classifieds for one as a run to work car.

That looks great mate. On my shortlist of vehicles i'm considering purchasing in about a year's time.

With it being an Aero does that make it 2.3T?

Nice car - probably one of the most under rated fast estates around.

Very nice!!
I've had mine for six months now and find it very comfy and fast enough to see off most..go's around corners really well for a big motor
think they look better than the saloon version

£2500, it's done 98,000 miles. Around town the consumption is pretty bad, 20mpg, but once on a run i've seen high 30's.

High 30s? Really? Never got over 30mpg in ours.

Cruise control on the motorway, I think the circumstances were in it's favour to be honest as i've not seen anything north of 25mpg since.

The first car I drove regularly when I passed my test a few years ago was my dad's 9-5 Aero. Awesome car for overtaking. Good fun at 19...

Nice car, looking to have one of these as the daily drive in the not too distant future...

Ooh, Aero Saab. They are good at taking pics of cars but always wondered what the cars are actually like!

Especially after seeing a fairly ropey £3000 Aero Coupe I went and saw privatley, listed on thier site for £4300!

Yes, offside driveshaft has sheered. Yes, i'll get it in the air and fit another one, hopefully there won't be any other damage under there. I wasn't driving at the time, I had just engaged reverse and was pulling away when it went.
