First off I just want to say what a absalutely fantastic forum this is. It is miles above any of the other forums I have ever been on before. Keep up the good work

Now onto team French. These cars have absalutely nothing on some of the more expensive cars on here, but I am a student and money is a bit of an issue at this moment in time.

This is my C2 VTS. It has been in the garrage more times than any other car I have known, infact I have driven C1's more often than this car. However when she is working, I do LOVE this car. It is absalutely fantastic but at 21 I now want some more power as my friend has just purchased a BMW Mcoupe

Now some of you may laugh but this was my first car. After it was broken in to after two weeks of driving it gave me the balls so to speak to strip the car out. From there I got myself some Grp N Bilstein suspension, bucket seats + harnesses, toyo proxy tyres etc. I spent a small fortune on her. Last but not least, the wheezy engine in this car is a 1400cc. That means 75bhp of pure french awesomeness

Well I hope everyone had a good christmas,
Vinny

Only a remark, you should need more power because you have the feeling that your driving skills are improved, not because your friend has got a faster car smash

I absalutely agree with you Duglia and I wouldn't even consider getting a faster car unless my road knowledge/ability was at an acceptable level. I have been driving for 4 years all of which have been accident free. I also do a lot of driving which is mainly commuting to Castle Combe, all of which add up to 35,000 miles per year. The thing is I absalutely love it, nothing gives me as much joy as driving my cars. I am sure a lot of other people on this forum feel the same, hence why we are on here.

Welcome to the forum, its good to see a young driver not going down the bodykit route with a Saxo.

My brother had a C2 GT, I was never keen on it. The way the hazards came on under hard braking annoyed the hell out of me.
But glad you are enjoying it.
What car do you fancy next?

Oh I can't think of anything worse other than a 'kitted saxo. Not a single one looks ok, very chav tacular.

The hazzard thing is a bit strange. I have never had it myself, but maybe I haven't had the need to brake hard enough as of yet. On the subject of braking, the c2 vts has absalutely fantastic brakes. I believe they are 266mm calipers, such amazing stopping power.

As for my next car I really cannot decide. The sensable side of me wants a diesel so that would have to be a Seat Leon cupra tdi. However my craving for a Renault Clio mk2 V6 is taking over.
