Hi all,

About two and a half weeks back, i passed my driving test. 5 minors

Anyhow, on to the car, well my dad got it in part ex but shes in perfect nick.

Its a 1.9 P reg Fiat Scudo campervan, in devon green

I love it and it really stands out from the usual clio's and corsa's.

Its not fast, but it is really easy to drive and your sat quite high up.

Ive only one picture at the mo, but il try and get some more, inside and out, tomorrow.

Anyway, here it is:

cheers,
James

Interesting choice of a first car(?), what's the insurance like on a camper-van?

Lol, thats one of the things I want to do before I am 25, buy one of these Vans, have it done up (so it doesnt break down!) and then go touring with the lads for a few weeks!

Well it's certainly different to most people's first cars!

Have you got some pics of the inside? I'm thinking about a DIY conversion on one of these as a summer project so it would be good to see how they're normally laid out.

Certainly is different, thats ace. Wish my 1st car was different, seem to recall many moons ago the 1st car was the slowest 1l Fiesta ever made.

I can't help but think, with regards to the OP's first car; he isn't the type to be getting girls hehe

you'd be suprised, they seem to love it, im getting the rear side windows tinted to make it look a bit less like an old mans van lol.

Get some nice shiney alloys, tint the windows then add any universal twin exit sports exhaust - I've seen a fair few vans lately with these additions and they look really funky.

Girls dig 4x4's, and a van is sort of on the right tracks - Get some surf decals on the side and set up a few surfing trips in the summer, obviously inviting some girls to come along; you'll need to bring your wellies, since you'll knee deep in clunge!

Well my old Rover accomodated a divan mattress, this van would easily take a proper single mattress, maybe even a double at a push... If you wanted to use it for such uses of course...
