Bought it for £1500 from the Missus Brother, was Cat-C, now repaired and road legal again.

Gave it a service yesterday, as there was not a drop of oil showing on the dipstick frown. Got it booked in for a cambelt change tomorrow.

Few little things that need sorting, like getting rid of those lights in the bumper, needs a fresh set of plates and need to get some decent rubber on her feet. But apart from that, I love it. Huge fun to drive and I don't care if I look like a ponce driving it biggrin

Gave it a quick wash this morning and its stinking already!
Its a 1.7 btw!

Reminds me of a recent "incident" in a car park. Hurried dumping of car meant the beast was not between lines - the place was nearly empty any way.

Pedant challenged driver as we neared the car, he just said "he parked it" pointing to myself and guide dog!

Kept the complainant quiet until we made our escape any way smile

Hehe - I'm not surprised it kept him quiet.. and top lurking fella'!

Nice car OP, new plates will smarten it up a lot, though it looks very tidy as it is.

(though your parking may get some stick even if it was just for the photos tongue out - PH, parking matters.

I was in a rush, I was going to park it up the top fo the street, but one of my neighbours was lurking in his garage, which would of ended up in a half hour chat if he'd seen me.

So I dumped it in the middle of the road, jumped out, took the photos and fled the scene, the whole photo shoot lasted 20 seconds!

My missus has a similar Puma. Must confess driving it is my guilty pleasure - it's so much fun. Don't enjoy it as much as the Elise, but it's a cracking little car and the engine's right in its sweet spot on a motorway cruise, it pulls with real conviction.

Very nice, this is mine

Sorry about the rubbish picture

Quite happy with it, does attract dirt though (of the muck kind tongue out ). Getting the cambelt done after Christmas plus sorting the rusty arches out and a few stone chips.

+1 great little cars.

I had a puma a few years ago, and when my girlfriend wanted rid of her old Pug 106 I convinced her a Puma was the way to go. Found a black 1.7 and its great smile

Looks nice mate. Puma's are one of the only for my budget real world affordable non VW cars I'd ever consider owning.

I totally agree, whilst slightly short geared, I was always impressed with the pickup at that speed, pretty good for MLM hunting laugh

I purchased a Puma about 18 months ago and loved it. Always had a soft spot for them after seeing Tiff abuse the life out of one on *possibly* Top Gear a few years back. The car now belongs to my mum who just will not let it go despite me, my dad and my sister trying to talk her into an Abarth 500.

Forget the ''girlie'' image, enjoy the Puma... In fact, I'm taking going to take ours to Dunham for some snow fun shortly. wink

Got some fresh plates on her and ditched those horrid fog lights....

Please ignore the insects on the front bumper, I'd run out of insect remover and elbow grease!

Get a towel wet (and warm) and lay it over the bugs for a few mins, they wipe straight off afterwards smile
