Well my Defender has now gone.........

And now replaced with this......which is just the greatest little car. Makes me laugh out loud every time I drive it and every journey is an adventure as EVERYONE stops to chat and take pictures etc. Great fun in London.........traffic jams are no problem, I just follow the cyclists (much to their annoyance I am sure!)

Fitted with a 650cc engine so goes OK and a synchro gearbox so much easier to drive.

Fantastic! Best looking car I've seen on here in ages. I have a pair of 850 barrels somewhere (in my shed). smile

love it!

my dad's business partner has one in need of a resto stored on top of a packing crate in their workshop. i keep trying to bargain him down to a price i can afford but despite it being there 4yrs he insists he 'needs' it.

How do you get in it?

I sat in one at a Fiat open day and I had problems, then again I'm 6ft 4.

I love these cars, yours looks stunning and in great condition. Was in one at an abarth launch, took 3 salesmen to try and start it (couldnt figure out how to, they even went and asked an 'italian' ice cream man if he knew). Then let me try and i managed eventually, the lever start is very strange.

i want one frown.

I am 6fy 4 and 18 stone............I actually fit quite well. Have had the seat runners moved back a bit though....more leg room than the Defender!!!

Yet ironically the first is so manly it's a little "butch homo" and the second is so girly it's actually very hetro. wink

Lovely looking car, I'd love one.
