You would assume so?

Unless he's a 17 year old new driver with a previous for drink driving?

ETA - Looks like a VTR, so if thats what your intention was, well done. smile

Id have thought so, surely all the cash spent on making it look like that would more then have covered the insurance?

would you rather he'd stuck a jap style kit and massive wing on it? his car looks pretty good and he hasnt whacked an endeclared 2.0 litre engine under the bonnet. Im sure once he grows up he'll get the cash together to buy something faster etc but at least he's proud of his car and looks after it.

Calm down young man!
You just got some people who aren't impressed it seems.
I am though. We have a 1.0 Paxo and it's a great little bundle of raw power!! AND VTRs do look good.

There's a lot of tits on here but the sensible folk will be more impressed by your enthusiasm and appreciation of cars in general and not neccesarily by what you drive. I drive a rusty Puma and people still talk to me!

it just seem to me thats what people look for in cars now. look at most cover features on the mags all of them have been put into a specialitst to do the work then when finished they get a cover

also im not as young as it may be being perseived due to the fact that i have a 1.1 saxo im 21. tbh i wont ever sell this car as it was a gift. ive had a few other cars aswell as this one unfortunatly my favourite was petrol bombed outside my house at the beggining of last year.

Couldn't care less really. It looks ok, he's not ruined it or anything.

I'm not sure what you want really? It's one of the most basic cars in existance so it's pretty boring.

My first car was a tidy 1991 1.4 Fiesta, it did me well and I liked the car, but I wouldn't expect it to impress anyone on PH.
