After the loss of my dear wife in August, I lost all interest in cars. The GT3 went as did the Astra. I then bought a Zafira, after 3 weeks of ownership, a guy at work told me it didn`t suit me, the spark returned and I`ve had this for month, ok it`s not as quick as the GT3 but it`s quick enough, and far more sensible driving

Sorry for your loss. It's a terrible thing to have to deal with, even more so when it's premature.

The TTs is absolutely stunning. Agressive yet comfortable, quick and useable, fun but composed.

I want one!

Glad the 'spark' is back!

Pete, really sorry to hear the news. Not what I was expecting when I saw your thread. I've followed your car history, as I was interested in the 911 and the Astra. Hadn't realised you had got rid of both...

Sorry to hear about your wife. frown

Nice car though. Look great in the flesh too. What sort of power does it put out? How does it do corners?

Pete, my condolences to you mate, I hadn't realised you lost your wife although I know she was poorly.

Hope things are ok your end as best as possible?

TT looks great, not quite the Astra or the Pork, but great none the less!

Look after yourself mate and hopefully catch up with you at some point in the not too distant future

Hello, ever so sorry to hear about your wife - it is one of the things that scares me about commiting to a long term partner.

On another, happier, note - do you still keep in contact with the new owner of the Astra?

Sweet looking motor for sure smile

I remember you posting up on the Jaykaybi Kent Run thread about not being able to make it due to your loss, was a bit of a shocker. Good to hear your finding a little of your old self again biggrin

Hopefully see you and the TT on a future run..............

The GT3 looked awesome in your profile biggrin

Glad you settled with a TT though, they are still quite quick, slick and can be used daily.. Looks like a good compromise smile
