VW, MK2 Jetta, 20v turbo (soon anyway)
Discussion
I pop on here everynow and then when i'm searching for info.
Anyway, after deciding having a low daily driver (20v turbo passat) wasn't the best idea and after having a slight incident with the sump
i got onto the idea of a project.
I used to own a mk2 gti, which i loved to bits, so another mk2 based car was the only way.
So i picked up this Jetta, for the grand total of a playsatation 3 which was only ever used to watch blurays.
The car was utterly filthy and hadn't been driven in years, took a good few hours of cleaning to remove any green stuff off.
A guy a local vw specialist was leaving milton keynes and offered me a full cage, subframe and rear axle to make it wider track.
Some serious head scratching was involved to make the cage fit, as it is a perfectly tight fight and there is only one combination to get it in.
But we got there
A couple of weekends ago i finally aquired a low milage cupra r 20v turbo engine.
Then last weekend
There is so much left to and it makes my head hurt, but tomorrow, cracking on with it.

That'll make a good sleeper. You in mk? I'd be happy to help/advise if you need it? Check my website in my profile which you may find useful.
I'm in good old mk.Just had a read of your site, it's added to my favourites.
Craig Mcd, you can catch a glimpse of the passat in the background, though it's become a bit unloved now and gets abused.
But here it is a bit cleaner
On it's old wheels, which have since been sold and the money put into the jetta.

please tell me you are going from something down the sleeper/rat look....
I'm going to keep it clean and tidy (getting loads of overtime at work to pay for a bit of paint)nothing too showy. I'd love to have it as a sleeper, only problem is the cage might give it away.please tell me you are going from something down the sleeper/rat look....

like the look of the passat
Was thinking of one for my next car
What mods did you do to it?
My passat is great, even if i havent bothered with it much recently, not an amzaing amount of go for a 20v turbo, as it is a big car though, but not slow either. Was thinking of one for my next car
What mods did you do to it?
All thats been done is lowered (coilovers), wheels (well gone now) and smooth bumper.
