Had this one for a couple of months now. My 3rd Classic Impreza. Not quite as much fun as the last stripped out RA, but it's not bad. wink

That is very clean, good work.

I do think white suits that shape so well. How does it compare to the RA in terms of performance, is there much difference?

Thanks.

Performance wise this and the RA are fairly similar. My RA was a WRX RA running 280/270. Stick that on the short ratio box and it's pretty lively off the line. It was still limited to 112mph but 80mph saw you at 4.5k to 5k revs. So I didn't see any point in de-limiting it. The STi is almost standard. Only mods are CAIK and cat back 3" system.

Handling wise though the RA wins hands down, even in standard form. The STi wallows in comparision. But that said the RA didn't stay on standard kit for long. I had Cusco coilovers, Whiteline front and rear uprated asjustable ARB, drop links and anti lift kit, upper and lower front and rear braces and it was fully stripped. I'm confident though that if I was to go the same route with this one it could be almost as good.

If I was to buy again I'd go for an STi RA.

Cheers.

No I'm the second UK owner. I fancied importing one but didn;t have a clue how.

I'd love an RA at some point, love the hardcore-ness of them.

The WRX is really nice though, my dad has an MY06 WRX and it's so different to the older ones... Not quite as raw but it's still a cracking car to drive.
