Hey all,

I have been a long time reader of this forum but don't post/comment much. I've been to a few Pistonheads meets and thought i'd show you my cars just incase you see me at future events.

My first car is 'The Chav Charriot' (Citroen Saxo VTR). I've purchased it when i was 19 & have owned it for around 3 and half years & have chucked money into modifiying it from day one, consisting off a lower half respray, slight engine/exhaust upgrades and suspension upgrades.
To be perfectly honest its a great fun little car which has never really missed a beat, apart from the evening the engine fell out whilst i was driving. All the engine mounting bolts sheered off!!!
I use it as my daily hack and at the moment dont intend to change it, that is unless i get a good offer or see something abit more fruity.

Engine falling out on a dark unlit country road

My High day and Holiday car is an e46 M3. I purchased this back in april and have loved evey minute of it. I used it as my everyday car for 4months whilst i saved to re-insure and get the Saxo back on the road as it was SORN due to the arrival of the M3, but now i only use it on dry sunny days, so by the looks of things it isn't going to be used much until the spring arrives i persume.
The power, the build quality & the general grin factor is sublime! I dont intend to 'modify' this in anyway, i'd like to try keep it as origional as possible. The wheels are hopefully going to be sprayed back to the origional shaddow anthracite colour in a few weeks time & then discs and pads all round are due in january ready for its MOT.

Stupid thing to say. It's not as though he has ran it through a fibreglass factory and stuck a heap of tat on it.
Both nice cars smile

M3's nice.

The saxo reminds me of the one I used to have.

Its a shame saxo's carry with them the image that they do because they are great fun. Not mad power and some french build quality issues but in the right situation, their a good laugh for not a lot of money. I wish the little chav mong-boy who bought mine from me hadn't turned the poor thing all 'max-power' because I would have probably bought it back from him now frown

Thank you. Im not quite sure how it came to fall out. The week previous to it falling out i did hit a rock in the road at about 70mph which caught my lower strut bar and i think that may have contributed to the cause. The night it happened i was just about to pull out of a junction and the next thing i know was there was a lot of metal 'jinglin', the revs going into the red as the throttle cable snapped and the gears jammed in second. Got it towed to my girlfriends fathers garage where he diagnosed all the bolts had completely sheered of the mounts.
