'98 Audi A3 1.8T Sport
Discussion
Evening all, been here a little while so it's about time I got around to putting some pictures up of my car.
1998 Audi A3 1.8T Sport, bought in Dec 04. Drove it around standard for a coule of years before contemplating modifications.
Finally settled on modifying for it, and have ended up with:
K03s turbo
Miltek turbo-back exhaust
Forge silicon TIP and boost hoses
Jabba Sport remap to 242bhp and 238lb/ft
G60 clutch and flywheel
TT brake upgrade kit with Yellowstuff pads
18" RS007 MTM replica wheels
Bilstein springs and dampers -60mm
H&R front and rear ARBs
Have ended up with a good looking hatch that can move and handle bends very well. Still puts a smile on my face after nearly five years and 50,000 miles.
Couple of older pics as the weather's rubbish at the moment. Trying to find a nice weekend to get some proper pictures taken.
Let me know what you think!
Cheers,
Andy

Very nice motor with some well chosen modifications. You take a great picture too! How have you found the forge TIP? I've got a AMD mapped Cupra r and I hear these are offer a nice hike in power on a mapped engine!
Forge TIP has been great, no problem since it was fitted.Should make a nice difference on your Leon. The standard ones collapse under 1.2bar(ish) + boost. Always recommended for tuned cars.

May i ask what the rough - 0-60/30-70/0-100 times are given its running 242bhp?
Also were the mods expensive and hard to sort out?
The mods weren't too bad considering the cost of the car. Most expensive was probably the full Miltek system. Also were the mods expensive and hard to sort out?
Got the K03s with low mileage from a friendly breaker.
Never timed the 0-60's etc but would estimate at about 5.5sec to 60. For the others I would only be guessing. It's pretty rapid though

So what would you estimate it would cost to buy a similar car and raise to your power levels - 4k?
Take it it would also work with a Golf Mk4?
