I hate it when i see these threads too early! The guy has skills, i like the flourishes on the brackets especially. I'll have to try and remember to check it (it's in my favourites) in a few months time!

I've done exactly the same!

Sounds as though the guy has been getting some grief over the project from some people, but I can't imagine why. Looking forward to seeing it finished

that man has skills. love the rear end treatment but not sold on the model a grille.

fantastic project. every young boyracer who thinks he has modified his car with lexarse lights , a blobby kit and an exhaust should be made to read this build diary. the man is a hero

The Esprit is real AFAIK, though the Turbo is another Beetle-chop
