Was an option I think.

What have you done to it to get those power increases?

No not an import.

Its an option to get sunroof.

I pretty much had all the options available when i bought it.

K & N Gen II filter,

Mongoose 3" downpipe, and cat back
3" Piper decat

Radtech FMIC (front mount intercooler)

DreamScience remap running mod B

and Shell Vpower if that makes any difference at all smile

I like it, nice and stealthy!
Sometimes I wish I'd bought one of those instead.

Seems to need alot of upgraded parts for the remap. Are they running close to the limit on the standard set up or have you just done that to take future mods?

An air filter, exhaust and intercooler is a lot of mods for a remap??

Sorry to derail your thread.

Mines making a shade under 290 & 350lb ft on stg 1 remap alone, some make over 300 with no mods.
Stage 2 takes it to 320bhp with hiflow cat & filter.

Looks smart, impressive power figures too.

Have you got anything else planned?

Lovely ST, nice in black. I had an electric orange one back in '06, lovely car...should have kept it tbh.

Im not sure where you are getting your figures from but to get anywhere near 300 you need a fair bit more than a Remap you will need uprated induction updated exhaust at the least and to get 320 you will need an uprated Turbo too.

Are you quoting as fact?

Take a look on the revo, CC, AMD etc, etc website, even bluefin website quote at 294 for the stg 1 and quote 320 for s
tg 2 with cat and filter.

I have the graph in the car if you really don't believe me.

Don't confuse the TFSI engine fitted to the ED30, S3 (albeit with different map and intercooler) & Cupra with the Golf GTi/Octy VRS TFSI engine, which make 240bhp on stg 1.

Again, sorry OP.

Don,t understand why anyone needs to tune a prefectly good engine over 200 bhp!

There are unfortunatly speed restrictions in this country that stop anyone needing any more power(apart from the track day cars).Maybe its great to prag to your mates down the pub who's got the most bhp,but I would have thought 200 bhp and a 0-60 of seven seconds would be enough in anyones world.
I love the focus and i was once a ford freak ,but 300 ponies WOW

I just looked at at the bluefin website and their power graph shows 285bhp for a stage 2 ST. 350lb/ft torque must be 'fun' through the front wheels...

Pistonheads is a site for car enthusiasts. 200bhp is not the upper limit for a usable engine in the UK. Many PHers drive elsewhere than the UK. PHers don't tune their cars to impress idiots in the pub, they do it because they love driving.

I do love driving although i have never driven any car withover 200hp and a 0-60 in 7 secs which i presume
is slow in comparision to a lot of the phers cars, trust me i,m in awe of some of the cars that i know i will never be able to afford anything near the OPs car until its about 10 years old.
