what started out as a simple clutch change after a track day at Llandow things took a slightly different direction...

Landow..





one week later...





a bit later :-)





might as well fit new flywheel too seeing as it's out...

old..



new..



A few weeks later...

new heat shielding, refinished subframe...



engine and box back together, rotrex refitted...













just waiting for a a few more bits to arrive and a charge cooler set up for pro alloy now :-)

i'll update with some more pics when there is some more progress.

Wow i love it would love a type r Lotus+Blowen! must be so much fun. Good to see you got carried away i know how you feel i did the same last winter to the Tiv lol but will be worth it when its back on the road.

things have begun to take shape, pics of the last couple of weeks work--

pro alloy charge cooler pre rad--


test fit new gearbox mount--

doing our own zincing--

cleaning up of the only original part of the mounts--

zinced-

buggered headlight--


did our own powdercoating too--

new one piece engine mount--

plenty of duralac--

engine and box back in :-)---


still a fair bit of work to get it ready for Autosport, but there is light at the end of the tunnel!!

looks lovely.

It may be a bit of an optical illusion, but won't that oil filter be a bit of a bugger to change.

It'll be a weapon when it's finished though, good effort thumbup

few more hours put in today--

new windscreen fitted yesterday--

new headlights c/w re-furbed brackets--

re-furbed front quarter panels--

exhaust refitted--

new charge cooler courtesy of pro alloy--

it's finished (almost) just a few very minor jobs to do before it gets a fresh GEO at JS Racing enroute to autosport next week, where the car will be on the pistonheads display.
