Hey...first post!
Just got myself a 1.2 clio dynamique and I am planning to do a bit of visual modifications. I don't want to go over the top and I think im just going to hunt for some black alloys, window tint/film and probably black out the badges.
I just need a bit of help with a few things...

1. Suggestion for decent black alloys <£300
2. How to black out the badges?
3. How easy is tint film?
4. Any other basic ideas?
5. What size alloys will fit?

thanks I've attatched a photoshop mock up of how I want it to look!

I know it's all down to personal taste but I dont think black wheels look good on any car

On my first car in my youthful days, I got some fake carbon fibre film, and used it to wrap all the larger badges. I then had stickers made up to replace the other badges.

I thought it looked bloody brilliant. Then I decided to paint the wheels white with hammerite. Maybe a step too far...

Not sure I'd do it now, but it might get you your black badges you want whilst also looking schnazzy?

You can just make out the Seat badge here - all carbony and that. And the hammerite wheels. Wow, I was cool back then.

Haha I had one of those as my 1st car, a 1.5 sxi! Painted my wheels black hammerite funnily enough.

I know someone with a silver Clio who did the badges and wheels in gunmetal grey. Looks good to me.

What are you really going to gain with halfords tints and black wheels? Also these kind of things will most likely attract unwanted attention from the BiB.

I was planning on just making it look a bit better than it does and when it comes to selling it I would just change everything back to standard!

front or rear bumper? remember with a front bumper you'll need new wings too as they're wider so match up with the bumper, wont be a good fit with standard wings iirc. but dont do it, its just as bad as badging it up as a 2.0.

i dont think it suits the black wheels either tbh. but thats your decision also. better respraying the original wheels as mentioned before.

id definetly recommend lowering the car also. ive got 30mm lowering springs on mine, the look isnt that obvious but it handles alot better. only £100 for them too.
