In what way is that the only ZT-T 260? I'm sure I've seen others.

I've got a feeling there is more than a few in total.

IIRC there were very few pre-facelift 260's made - which is what he stated (mk1). Most are the facelift.

Love the MG. Assume by V6 twin turbo teh Jag is a 2.7D. Bit of a come down in my opinion. If you lined them up I know which I would dive for.

I guess economy must have played a part? But how many miles could you have driven for the extra you paid for the Jag.

Nice cars though, on there own.

Thanks guys.

I am told that there are 850 MG's and Rover 75 with the V8 fitted.

The MG ZT-T mk1 apparently there are / were only 25

As for why swapping to the Jag, I drive about 600 miles a week and the MG was killing my bank account + most of my driving involved M35 and M1 so with them road works I was killing my left leg and doing wonders on the clutch.
