Autumn Morning in the Peaks
Discussion
I took my M635 out for an early morning drive the other week before work. I live on the South West edge of Sheffield, and headed into the nearby Peak District.
It was a stunning morning with bright sunshine and dense mist in the valleys.
I'm no photographer and only had a compact camera with me but I was quite chuffed with the results!

Said it over in the Yorkshire forum earlier - that is a lovely car.

I know that area well !! Stanage rock at the distance
Yes, me too - Family comes from Hathersage, so I know that road, those moors and those rocks very well. Part of the reason I chose to study to Hallam Uni a few years back. snotrag said:

Nice little village, lots of outdoor stop for small village. Often drinking tea and cake at "Outside" cafe after hard day climbing.craggers said:

What time was the drive? I love the mist. It really sets the scene!
It was about 8am. The last pic was on the road down to Hathersage.I had heard about how amazing the mist can look around this area after a cold night and this is the first time I have seen it. I've had a recce since for some other locations so I am hoping for a suitable morning to have another go. The car doesn't get driven a lot through the winter months so it's nice to give it a run now and then to keep everything working!
