Hey just a quick question to anyone in the know ! Can you put a 13b rotary engine in a vw 1981 caddy ? something like a mk 1 job . Just thinking about a new hobby car . Oh and what do you have to do to it to make it legal?

You could take ANY engine and put it in ANY car.... how hard it is would be down to your skill and/or the depth of your pockets!

Mating a rotary engine to the cady gearbox would be almost impossible..

So.. I suspect you would have to fit the rotary engine+ gearbox from whatever car it came from... plus the diff.... and make the van rearwheel drive if it isnt already..

(unless there is a front wheel drive rotary car?)
