Okay I posted a few pictures not long ago but they were a bit rubbish now I have a few more.

The first two pictures are of how it was when I bought it in January, the next few are how it stands today. As you can see there have been a fair few cosmetic changes to make it look more err standard. Also there has been a fair amount of mechanical work done as well.

Disclaimer: I do not claim to be a good photographer nor do I claim that I am good with photoshop I just didn't have anything to do first thing this morning.

How it was in January:

How it looks today:

Thanks for looking

Lovely.

Luckily you got rid of that barry front lip and fitted a proper GTI dual headlight!

Thanks for the comments.

I still have a starting problem to fix and then need to get the wheels refurbed and a few dings out of the bodywork. Then I wont know what to do with myself!

Wow this post has had a lot of views it's used up my full 10GB allowance on photobucket!!

I really want an Elise (I need something more impractical) so by the time I get round to doing performance mods and insurance I would rather just get an Elise.

Not had any problems so far. Have had the Police sat behind me in traffic on numerous occasions, even parked in a Police station car park not long ago. I can guarantee I get stopped tomorrow now I have said that though.

Are they the 14 or 15inch BBS wheels Jim ? (I think im right in saying that with the big-bumper cars the 8v's had 14inch prior to the final run-out models and the 16v's all had 15inch.)
