Some hate them, some love them. I used to hate them, then I drove one...now I love them. smile

Anyway, here's my Honda...am a big fan of OEM styling, so all I've done are mostly OEM tweaks really. Like to keep the car looking factory but a little fettled with...

Will get some pictures up of the engine bay and exterior shortly, as I've done a few tweaks there too.

Specs for anyone who cares:

* AEM V2 Dual Chamber Intake
* Supersprint Unsilenced B-Pipe
* Injen Hydrosheild
* Refurbished 17" OEM Enkei Wheels
* Window Tints
* Ferodo DS25000 Pads
* ABP Fast Road Set-Up
* JDM Rear Anti-Roll Bar
* Bridgestone Potenza RE040 Tyres
* Mugen Gear Knob
* Mugen Pedals
* JDM Honda Wind Deflectors
* JDM/Premier Model Complete Floor Carpet
* Facelift/Premier Door Cards
* JDM Honda Mats
* Aero Wipers
* Red Calipers
* 6000K Dual Beam H.I.D Kit
* Silvatec Indicator Bulbs
* Silvatec Side Repeater Bulbs
* White Frosted L.E.D Side Light Bulbs
* White Frosted L.E.D Numberplate Light Bulbs

Cheers smile

Oooh that's rather nice thumbup

Glad to see you've shunned the idea of a drainpipe exhaust.

LOL, yeah...to be honest I think large bore exhausts look stupid on any kind of hatch back, only really work on big jap turbo cars. The only other exhaust I really like the look of for the CTR is the Spoon N1, but my favourite look is the OEM exhaust. With that in mind, I just removed the restriction from the OEM exhaust (the centre section, going for a straighter, unsilenced section) and bought a new OEM back box from Honda instead. Rather than changing the sound of the car, I find it just adds a little rasp under throttle from the original back box.

Very Nice i love those red rimmed tyres. I'v got a 05' CTR Cosmic grey. Just fitted a Cold air kit down in the wheel arch (AEM CAI) with hydro sheild and a orignal Spoon Decat. I did some flow work on the manifold too with some air powered polishing stones/drill bits. They are not without there faults, (bouncy skittish arse end!!!!) but it is just so so so good at doing what it does. Its funny but people often forget the accolades the EP3 Civic Type R won... the power game has moved on now to 240bhp+ for hot hatches, but those in the know....

KPRO
Tuned maniFold
Racecat/DeCat
Gruppe M
Tein Fast road set up
DS2500's

and if your really keen....

JRSC.

I have been in a friends with similar to the above spec, R26R, RS i dont think so........ not a hope in hell.

Where you based?

Hi mate smile

Am based in Hampshire, quite a few CTR's down here!

Just a thought, you mentioned your car's a bit skittish at the back...have you thought about a JDM rear anti-roll bar? It's a lot thicker than the UK version, only costs about £100ish and will completely get rid of the skittish back end! Trust me! I thought the same before I made that upgrade.

I think Unit-8 might have some at the moment and it's WELL worth the money as it transforms the handling more than a fast road set up IMO.

Here's some bonus pictures from a little trip me and my friend went on a couple of weeks ago...some of you may recognise it wink

Yeah I agree, the only good looking aftermarket exhaust is the Spoon N1. I put one on my Integra and the tip is the same diameter as standard.

I like your modifying style. I like the car too with the exception of the tints. Thumbs up to the exhaust modification!

Yep, horseshoe pass smile lovely road, and lovely scenery!

Tints may not be to everyones taste, however, the Facelift EP3's actually come "pre-chavved" with tints from the factory!

I'm just so used to seeing CTR's with factory tints that I thought mine looked a little bare with nothing in the back windows. smile

Not all facelift EP3s had the tints. I had a 55 plate final edition/premium (whatever they want to call it) that had them as standard - but they were an option on the rest i believe. Mine was silver too but totally standard (including lovely red recaros!), i like the way you've done the wheels - very nice!

Loving the wheels matesmile

Where did you get them refurbed? Im hoping to get a red type R shortly and get the wheels refurbed exactly like that. I couldnt find any pictures of the wheels done like this on the type r forums either.

Beautiful smile
