The Capri is a 1983 2.8 Injection 5 speed which I've owned since July 2006 when it had 101,000 miles on the clock. It came with a sunstantial amount of history.
Its now completed over 130,000 miles and was used as my daily drive until January 2009. It now garaged and only comes out when the weather is dry.

It has the following improvements;

It has been polybushed throughout.
AVO adjustable rear dampers.
Rear Axle Location kit (X-frame).
Anti-dive kit.
Front strut brace.
Drilled & slotted front brake discs.
Mintex G-spec brake pads.
Goodridge braided flexi brake hoses.
Quickshift.
Ashley headers & Sportex exhaust system.
Magnecor KV85 leads.
Roose Motorsport silicon coolant & air hoses.
K&N panel filter.

It also has had new front & rear bumpers fitted, new re-condtioned front brake calipers, new brake master cylinders & rear wheel cylinders. A re-conditioned type 9 transmission has been fitted & the car has been re-sprayed & waxoyled.

I've tried to keep the external appearance completely standard (other than the later spec 7 spoke alloys) and keep the improvements I've made out of sight.

This my 3rd Capri having owned a modified 1986 1600 Laser when I was 18 from 1995 through to 1999 and an ex Manchester Police 2.8 Injection (D439KVM) briefly in 1999.
After owning a succession of more modern cars from 1999 to 2006 such as a couple of Rovers and Subaru Imprezas & even a Suzuki Cappuccino I decided to buy another Capri, hence the car you see today.

In February 2009 I replaced the Capri as my daily drive with the 1993 Volkwagon Corrado VR6.
The car has completed 100,000 miles & has had 4 previous owners. It also came with a substantial amount of history including a fully stamped service book.
The car is completely standard apart from the Pioneer head unit & Cobra alarm system. I intend to keep it that way.

I also own a late model 2008 MK6 Fiesta 1600 Zetec S in Sea Grey.
