I was about to change my car (civic type-r) for a 123d. But something happened when I was ordering it...

Sense.

It clicked.

I don't want a diesel, and decided that driving was a hobby; a pleasure. Not a need.

I don't want to be controlled by the economy or follow the crowd by getting a diesel. I want something that thrills me. Something that, when I look at it, I think; Wow. That's MY car.

So I did.

It's a 2006MY, and I've averaged 16mpg. If God farted, it would sound like this thing, above 4000rpm, in a tunnel.

The aim is keep it for 6 months or so, then grow up and get a sensible car. Which in my mind is an M3 wink

Well done! Far better than a 1 Series diesel.

I hope you enjoy it.

Class! Well done.. You sir deserve a pint (or two) for this decision!

Get yourself a Milltek system for it (when funds allow or unless it's one fitted already) and enjoy the glorious sound even more. By far one of the best sounding cars I've had the pleasure of driving!

Give that man a cigar.

Top work fella, great story. Even if it doesnt last long - you'll always remember when you bought an Aston Martin.
