Just though I would share some pics of my new weekend toy

Over winter she will be receiving some TLC along with a change of wheels and a large mechanical refresh.

Hope you like.

Gorgeous car, very clean too, but i do agree to lose the wheels. Those just don't suit it, possibly because their a little more modern in design than the originals.

What other plans do you have for it then?

RS wheels, rear and side spoilers would look the nuts on her.

Great looking 911 (I miss my 993's)

There is a chap on 911uk.com who has just done his into a RS look-a-like.

It will be going in to have the engine refurbed with newer and stronger internals if all goes well as well as billet rocker covers. A new exhaust system has been ordered for it also. I will also have it all stripped back so I can have it painted like new.

Suspension will be changed for coilovers and new anti roll bars as well as all bushes etc will be replaced smile

As well as these bits I am going to treat it to the aero bumper which is considerably smoother and neater and refreshed light lenses. I will likely lose the front plate too and have the front end sprayed to get it immaculate.

I have inquired about a custom set of BBS RS's to be made in 18" with staggered offsets so we will have to wait and see smile

Thank you for the positive comments

Ooohh, that sounds like exactly what I'd like to do if I had one.

More pics will of course be required once you've done these things.

The only trouble with owning one of these things is......what can possibly follow it? I`ve had mine for SIX years now and I still can`t see the day when I decide to part with it. By the way, IMO, the wheels look o.k.... Enjoy.......!

Is that an RS front lip?

I've been told by a few people that adding a Turbo S front lip, but not the rear lip can make the car quite unstable at high speeds, so i'd assume the same would apply to the RS kit.
