Yep, show us some examples, lots of people would want to get a picture done of their pride and joy so long as it doesn't look like a Picasso!

A girl with a porsche! good greif! wink

An ad in the Classifieds with some examples of your work and prices etc would be the best bet, should think a fair few people would want them! My old flatmate did my a drawing of my old 106 and gave it to me as a birthday present last year, was really thoughtful, and it's a pretty cool drawing!

Nice 924. I have a 944 that I'm currently trying to get back on the road but sadly they don't share much other than electrics and interior.

Pop over to TIPEC and join up on the forum, there are some helpful chaps over there.

Really appreciate the constructive comments. Rite i think i will do that want to finish a couple more drawings first yeah ive drew some for my friends they loved them.

i know shocker right - girl with a porsche i love my classics always wanted a porsche. it looks good but whats underneath that counts - bit of in a bad way. overheated on me and leaked. Rad got destroyed and it certainly wasnt running on all plugs and exhaust was black so i know i need to replace plugs. I brought new batt but car still needed jumping my electrics went crazy so new alternator and the hose from that to rad burst i think i have an oil leak as well so lots of work no money and no time frown need to work out why it overheated seems to be number of reasons lol trying elminating them but she is a brillantly drive and alot of fun. Good project car to learn on and hopefully get running next summer as ive said before.

Welcome to PH - like the drawing smile

Please use punctutation and paragraphs, it makes it so much easier to read what you're saying!

Sounds like the car needs a lot of work, i did something similar a few years back with a mk1 mr2 - really rewarding when it works! biggrin

Thanks. So you reckon they will be popular? Sorry just being lazy. Trying to do lots at a time - typical female.

I thought bout mr2 great for drifting, right? seen few of them done up like ferraris not bad jobs but what a waste of money.

Def i stripped out centre console - wiring looms complete mess trying to rewire alot harder than expected. Ive cleaned it up alot went from Gold, Yellow, Brown to Cream carpets was amazing. I love cable ties and duct tape. Need to solder but i hate doing that scares me lol Got mate who has an engine crane so will be able to a proper strip and rebuild job find out what else is wrong with the it. Gear changing was poor as well, sounded like metal on metal didnt like that i hope just lack of oil or the gear stick joint just worn out

Girls are meant to be able to multi task!!!

Not sure the mk1 was known for drifting, was only 125ish bhp - was a nice first project though smile

I found the electronics the easiest bit tbh, but i was studying elec eng at uni at the time! Getting my head around the mechanicals was worse!

Sounds like you have a lot to do, i guess you're thinking long term!
Good luck beer

I dont mean to sound rude but judging by the posted picture, I dont think your drawings are of a high enough standard to sell. The perspective seems to be a fair way out. I think you should carry on as a hobby for now and when the perspective improves (which it will with practise) think about selling later. smile

Good luck with the work on the car. When it's done I can only imagine how rewarding it'll be thumbup

I disagree with my '88 namesake. These are fun pictures & stuff like this, with purposely caricatured perspective and shape can sell very well.

Also, if you do a good generic black and white one of each of the popular models, its then easy to tweek, modify and colour them to suit individual commissions smile. I would imagine that this guy basically now just sells different colour printouts from his stock collection at £5 a pop http://www.carartz.com/carcaricature.php.

If it were me, i'd be wanting to get tidy b/w base images in digital format. Just my 2p smile

Cant please everyone and they wont be to everyones taste.

Thanks for the advice and link much appreciated. Yes looks like it but wouldnt digital lose the quality of the point of hand drawings? but it makes sence to make prints and tweek them like you said.

I guess it would be a case of uploading and scanning in the images rather taking photos of them from my phone then using photoshop? i need to build up more of a collection i think

2p???
