Thought I share a few pictures of my new daily drive / sprint car.

It's a 1998 integra type R, needs a bit of de-chaving in places but its only done 65,000 miles and had a lot of history so I decided to take the plunge and replace the clio 172.

booked it in for it's first sprint at brands hatch in two weeks.

already removed the chrome badges and the original stickers are ordered, just got to get rid of the horrible chrome steering wheel which I can't even bring myself to show you!

Looks nice smile if your still running the standard exhaust manifold, put on the OEM JDM manifold or better, makes a big difference.

Amazing engine isn't it. I loved mine.

I see you have the rear wiper. Looks rank but do you have any idea how annoying it is not having one on that slopey window. Not that you can see anything behind you. The wing is somehow always JUST IN THE WAY.

That would be the one I have then. I have the lightweight version with no ABS, clock, parcel shelf etc.

Looks like quite a nice example.

Excuse the thread revival here, but how are you finding the 'Teg? How does it compare to the Clio, and are the stories of bleeding ears and numb buttocks on the motorway exagerated?

Looking at a new daily driver in the near future and an Integra is one of the options. From what I've heard in the past they sound a tiny bit hardcore for a sensible/long distance car though.

So far it seams fine, but don't tend to drive very long distances, Noise it's a problem and the seats are pretty good although I imagine they could get a bit uncomfortable after a few hours.

I would have thought it's similar performance to the clio on the road with the only real advantage being the LSD which makes it better on track.

Seats are fine and never had a problem. smile

It does moan like a we on the motorway though - very low geared. I either went at 60-70 or north of a lepton otherwise it just drank very very quickly through it's expensive V Power!

I didn't think it was that loud to be honest, it's no rolls but I normally had the stereo off to listen to it so I guess that sort of squews my opinion a bit smile

Lovely motor...

Just do one thing more - spray the foglight surrounds. Always annoys me how they are just black...
