This is the 2nd one Ive owned, with an S4 inbetween.
This is one of the last ones ever made, on a rare N reg.
It also has leather, which was a rare option, and even rarer to have a sun roof and air con.
Finally, its a rare colour too! (Ruby red)
Spec/Mods
S2forum remap (~280bhp)
Cat back Milltek (soon to have gutted cats)
TT225 front calipers with UrS6 discs
RS2 shocks with H&R springs
Silver Roose boost hoses
18" deep dish B5 RS4 replicas
The grill rings have now been blacked out too:

I had one before, which had early S8 wheels, I do like them still but everyone wants/has them these days, so went for the RS4's to be a little different and to avoid the "been there done that" sort of thing!
I then traded up to a B5 S4 saloon, which was very nice, but just not as much fun as the S2!
Its more raw and you dont feel as disconnected from the speed as the S4 was.
Yes, the interior is just as tidy as the outside, Ill try to sort some pics soon
Finally, the grill is blacked out simply because I have a pet hate for chrome!!
This is my old S2, granted the wheels are nicer, but I dont want to copy things twice... I might change the RS4's for something else after the winter but not sure what yet.
And one of my S4...

Drools...! Beautiful cars you have had there! I am considering an S4 Avant as my next car, this one has caught my eye:

There is just something so tempting about the understated looks and performance of these cars!

They are awesome cars, especially when remapped!!http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1207061.htm

But beware, be VERY careful when buying one. Personally I would not buy another unless the owner agreed for it to have a health check at MRC in Banbury.
They can be HUGE money pits.
I took mine there confident it was running well, held boost no problem etc etc.
Turned out it had a boost leak (over spins the turbos and kills them, which is an engine out job to replace), knackered MAF and one oxygen sensor gone. Over 500 quid to sort!
Get yourself on rs246.com and audisrs.com and do your homework if you are not already
Edit: for 10k Id be looking at a slightly older one which has had all the mods done, especially K04 turbos

those S8 wheels are great!
They work so well simply because they are exactly the same as the originals but bigger.Sadly they are very rare and go for stupid money, if you can find any in the first place!
Do like the S2's. Look great and very well built with lots of tuning potential. But they are also very complicated which = high potential for money-pitism......so have yet to take the plunge. Followed a loverly dark grey one through Cirencester at the weekend.
