So I was browsing Autotrader looking for cars to replace my Teg with. A mug of tea in hand I saw this:

Looked quite nice and is a rare colour for a R34 Skyline so I went to have a look and put a deposit on it this afternoon.

Now the interesting part is that it has 18k miles. So how much for this nice example? £5995.

Pick it up in a few days since I am moving home atm as well. It is a tiptronic but for the money you would be silly not to.

Plans are to replace the auto box with a manual one as well as too release a few horses with a decent intake, exhaust, turbo timer and an aftermarket ECU. Want to leave it looking as original as possible as it is unbeliveably clean but a nice set of wheels is probably on the horizon as well.

Best thing about a Skyline? When you want something with a bit more power just bolt a few more upgrades to it smile

Just the pictures. It is not a small car by any stretch of the imagination.

not a huge fan of that rear spoiler, a GTR item would fit the bill, however your right that is ludicrously cheap! good spot!

Yes the spoiler is a bit ott and will be getting a replacement. Problem is that it is bolted to the rear wings as well as the boot lid so will need a bit of work to get rid of.

Its because its not the GTR so hasnt got the more agressive nose, skirts etc

Holes in the boot and wings shouldnt cost you too much to sort a local bodyshop sorted the holes out in my supra's boot for around £80

This is true. This is the GT-T that has the Neo-6 engine. I toyed with the idea of buying one of these a while ago, and they are as true a replication of the R34 GTR as you can get. Looks nice, and if you're going to be changing bits, i do agree with both the wheels and spoiler. Nice find though for just shy of £6k.

That spoiler is terrible. The skirts look good until you get to the hole in the rear, a surely pointless addition ruining an otherwise fine part.

Other than that good find, looks tidy if you look past the above points.

It won't be on there for long.

I'm not up on my Nissans, but I'm guessing that swapping from auto to manual isn't exactly an afternoon job...

I don't know how old you are, but who are you going to be insured with on this? I've fanced a GTS-T for bloody ages and the only quotes I can get are ludicrously expensive.

Nice car though; Apart from the spoiler, but you've already said you're getting shot of that soon enough.

What sort of Skyline is it? there are loads of variants. 2.0? 2.6? TT? Single Turbo? 2WD? 4WD?

Looks very clean and nice though.

I believe the R34 GT-T has a 2.5ltr Neo-6 engine with a single turbo.

Correct. Official Figures put it at 276bhp standard. Only the GTR was 4WD. It still has the stereo from Japan so it can pick up Capital Gold and that is about it.

Picked it up last night and slotted it in the garage. Just have to hope it is nice this weekend so I can go for a good shake down drive.

I was following you yesterday on the A418 and i must say that spoiler looks alot bigger in the flesh then it does in the pics. You could definatly do your ironing on that badboy. The rest of the car looks good tho, I must have seen about 20 people turn around for a second look when you drove past them thumbup

I have a replacement spoiler on its way to me now as yeah it is really a bit silly.

I saw a few people take a second look. I am not an attention we or anything but it is a nice feeling. Hopefully in the coming months they will hear me coming first wink
