Just a few pics of our driving holiday in Spain during August. More are at Holidays & Travel forum.

Ended up doing 2012 miles over a couple of weeks. I'm sure the turbo was smiling as much as me.
Plain and simply the car was awesome.

Gorgeous car, being used properly. Did you book the hotels yourself, or was the hotels and route part of a package?

Cheers for the comments everyone. If any of you ever think of doing this type of tour I can assure you you'll love it. In past years we've driven a Pug 205Gti,306Gti6,AudiTT and Carrera4. It doesn't matter what car just enjoy the awesome roads they have.

All booked direct online with www.parador.es - They have hotels all around Spain (approx 90. Therefore you can take loads of different routes. The best are in old castles, convents & manor houses. We've varied our route every year. Have now stayed in 30 of them!

edited to add. This year we took ferry from Plymouth to Santander (approx 20hr crossing), but sometimes travel through france as well.

Lovely looking car.

We did the same thing a few years ago. The Paradors are very good value for money and there is quite a diverse mix of buildings to see and stay in.

Do'nt tell everyone though..........It won't be a secret any more !!
