Very very cool, you don't see many RS6's of that model in saloon form.

Do you drive round with The Cult playing pretending you are in Layer Cake? I would and dowink

Saloon, don't see many of them.

You need to remove the front badge, swap the mirror covers for black ones, and change the RS6 badge on the back to an A6 badge. Then go hunting.......

The problem with the brakes is not that they are not powerful enough, once they are warmed up they are epic, considering the car weighs nearly 2 tonnes. The brakes are actually off a lamborghini golardo. The problem is cooling. The air that cools the brakes first goes through the intercoolers, so isn't the coldest. It is possible to fit the cooling ducts from a phaeton onto it, which seems to improve them from what i have read. It is also possible to fit the discs from a c6 rs6, which are slightly larger. Just a case of have a bracket made to space the calipers out slightly. This seems to make a large improvement from what people on the forums are reporting.

I think i will be doing both of these upgrades when my brakes need doing.

Will cost nearly £1000 to do my brakes next time anyway. £250 for each front disc, £130 for pads, then the rears aswell! Lambo part prices i guess!

Have you tried looking into aftermarket discs and pads?

Unfortuately there are no aftermarket discs avaliable. There are aftermarket pads avaliable, but they cost just as much as genuines, and the thoughts on the RS forums is they aren't as good anyway.

Well you certainly get top marks for eagle eye! I didn't notice untill after i bought it and parked it next to another RS6. Turns out they are replica wheels, but I also think the offset is wrong. Wheels are on my list to replace once the tyres wear out. Still don't know whether to go for some originals or aftermarkets. The 20" C6 RS6 wheels would look nice on it... £££££££££

Very nice.

The RS4 and RS6 are both on my list of cars to own at some point. Will be a while before it happens by the looks though, my A4 is enjoying munching wheel bearings this week. frown
