After well over a year's worth of lurking here on PH I thought I'd join up and say hello!

Current car:

Having wanted a 911 for so many years I bought this one (996 C4S) a few months ago and I'm really enjoying it. Other than the truely shocking shoddy trader I bought it from that is. After years of numerous MR2's, subaru's etc I thought it was time - and I havent looked back...

And here are a couple of MR2's from years gone by:

Rev3 turbo

Mk1 - my first 'proper' sports car!

Love the wheels on the turbo. What are they? Enkei somethings? Seems to remember them from years gone by... smile

Love the porker. Different world in terms of interior quality isn't it.

I recognise that Rev3, did you sell it to a boy named Ant per chance? It's recently undergone a bit of face surgery am sorry to tell you.

No, those wheels are Advans. You like them? Bit dated for me. Car was nice those.

Your Porsche looks very nice, welcome.

As speedracer says - advan's. sa3r I think. They seem to split opinion, personally I like them and suit a car of that age, but can understand why others dont. At least they're not venom's!!

Yep, the 911 is in a totally different league to any of the jap cars I've owned in the past (definitely the interior!) but I posted up these 2 as they were my favorite 'past cars'. For some reason I love MR2's and have had quite a few. For the money they are amazing IMO :-) Shame there are so many unloved ones about

Yes - I sold it to Ant - very nice chap too - I was sorry to hear that the engine gave up after a couple of months. Last I heard he was putting in a v6 at woodsport and possibly supercharging it? Did it go well or has there been any more bad news?
